Hi, my name is Fiona Hamilton and I am a Post-operative Transsexual woman from the UK (London)

It is an opportunity for me to tell my story of  how I have arrived at where I am in my life. What you will read is warts and all because that is life and there is no point rewriting history.

Apologies to those of you that have been visiting this site over the past decade for the removal of many sections of the site. I'm afraid it's a natural consequence of transition from the virtual world to the real one. Having realised my lifelong goal on 19th June 2007 and having a pretty great life now I can't in all honesty say that I either have the time nor inclination to keep it going. The tirade of abuse I have had from someone that was on a listings page over the past couple of days was the last straw. I am sure that they will view this action as a victory of some sorts but the reality is that it only spurred me on to doing the admin to shut everthing down apart from my bio and the link to the profile page, which my own inertia has to date stopped me from doing!

I'd like to take this opportunity to say a huge thanks to the hundreds of people that have written to me over the years thanking me for links the site that let many know that they were not alone and giving me encouragement on my journey. I could only hope that everyone's journey ends as happily as mine has done with all my social and work life totally intact and enhanced. Not to mention my mum who has been amazing throughout all of this. I will from time to time post to the profile just to let people know what I am up to and to show I am still around but I doubt it will be very often as life is too short to live in the virtual world.
